  1. Coconut oil as a face/body moisturizer has been a life saver. I tried going back to store bought and my skin broke out 🙁 I don’t know what I would do without it!

  2. My trick is to really accentuate my eyes by using dark eyeliner and blending really well, and always finishing with a strong mascara.

  3. My trick is Visine. It makes the whites of your eyes really bright. So the eyeshadow you apply really pops against the whites of your eye. Thanks for hosting!

  4. I always put an extra few coats of mascara on my outer lashes; it makes my small eyes look big and bright! White liner on the waterline is another favorite trick.

  5. For eyeshadow, use different colors on each side and middle. starting with the lightest in the corner of your eye. and blend blend blend. And….lots of mascara 🙂

  6. Primer is a must and then I use a damp makeup sponge to lightly dab my skin all over after applying powder foundation… it gives a nice effect and assures that the powder adheres perfectly

  7. eye shadow with highlights near brow line, mascara on upper lashes, eyeliner, eyebrow powder, cheek blush then bronzer, frosted gloss over lipstick with UD lip primer applied first

  8. Clean skin with a little bit of blush, highlighter on brown bone & black mascara, nothing more beautiful than a natural face!

  9. At my advanced age, I don’t do “glamorous” anymore, but this palette would definitely allow me to do “presentable” and better! Love those colors!

  10. I use eye drops as my “wet” base for my brush when applying wet/dry eye shadows. Its a cheap way to give the effect that is safe for the eyes. And its easy to keep at my makeup area instead of running for water or spraying something every where.

  11. I usually like to keep my makeup natural looking, but with some enhanced definition around the eyes. I love Urban Decay everything, and their palettes are no exception 🙂 I like to use a nude eyeshadow, blend it with a shimmery shade in the creases, and then take a wet brush to a dark shadow to thinly, smokily line my eyes. Curl my lashes and add mascara and I’m done!

  12. I always use a primer BEFORE putting on any eye makeup and then put loose face powder over the top of the layer of eyeshadow. I then put on a second layer so that if any washes away I have the bottom layer still showing. It’s all very light so it doesn’t appear that I have too much makeup on. It’s just a great way to ensure that the look remains for the entire day.

  13. My trick is to keep the essentials: mascara, lip gloss, tinted moisturizer, these will get you looking polished in a jiffy!

  14. I get glam by adding some gold shimmer shadow above my eyes and just a dot in my bottom lower lip blended in with my lipstick or gloss.

  15. I always add a light shimmer on the inner corner of the eyes to bright the entire eye area and for that pretty sparkle 😉 Urban Decay’s “Sell Out” is perfect for this

  16. Using my lipstick for blush. It’s perfect for on the go and always coordinates with my lipstick. Very old school, I know lol

  17. My makeup tip is to apply foundation with a light blending motion with a big powder brush. it gives an even, airbrush effect.

  18. light smokey eyes(BROWN – I use NAKED I every day!) + natural looking eye brows + create a neat lip-line with a nude lip liner… LESS IS MORE! 🙂

  19. mascara!!! And my new “thing” is using 3 eyeshadow colors. From light to dark, inside corner light…..to outter lid darker. I love it! Works with many many color palettes! Gives so much depth to your eyes.

  20. As a mom my new go to beauty trick is concealer under the eyes, top and inner corner of the eyes, a base on the lids, eyeliner or liquid eyeliner and mascara on top and bottom lashes.

  21. The absolute best tip I can give you ladies for applying make-up is to always apply a moisturizer (preferably with sunscreen). You need to make sure your skin is hydrated and protected!

  22. 1. Always use fresh mascara- never older than 6 months (you can tell if it’s smelly)
    2. NEVER SHARE IT (even with FAMILY)
    3. Don’t pull it in an out like a bike pump- it will dry it out and don’t even think about adding something to it to thin it out!
    Application:
Top lid: tilt your head back enough that you can still see your face/eyes in the mirror then lower your lid with the brush close to the base of your lashes, then do a slow blink while pulling the brush away clear to the ends of your lashes. Repeat brush placement, but this time, do a slight horizontal wiggle to separate the lashes, then slow blink and pull away again to the ends. You can also try rolling the brush (like twirling) After the first two swipes, just focus from mid-lash out.
Give the top lids a moment to dry, then tilt your head down a bit, so that you have to look up, and gently start the same process at your lower lash.
By having your head tilted and lids lowered there is a 99% chance you will not get it on the awesome eye-shadow job you just did- and you have great control over what’s going on where. As an aside, with a healthy tube of mascara, you most likely only need to insert the brush once per upper lash side. I’ve found that it isn’t necessary to reinsert the brush between lower lash lids. My fav mascaras are Lush Lash, Rimmel, and Clinique.

  23. High spf sunscreen moisturizer every. I will be 42 soon and get comments on my skin all the time when I’m with my daughter. Use sunscreen and it will pay off.

  24. NEVER forget primer! Know your face and contour to enhance your face shape, and smile you always look better with a smile!

  25. Never used naked before.. would love to try it! I usually go with a brown eye shadow and black liner mascara and a white liner for my waterline for my go to look.

  26. Tinted moisurizer, Bare Minerals Soul eyeshadow with a touch of their darker soft focus shadows in the crease with lots of liner and mascara and then Fresh tinted lip treatment to look finished but not fussy. If I have the time I use Tarte blush and/or Tarte bronzer. Something about that Soul shadow really makes my eyes pop and helps me look awake and alert, I hope they always keep making that color.

  27. i dont wear a lot of makeup so when i want to add some glam i go to my handy dandy gold shimmer eyeshadow to line and accent my eyes. really makes my eyes pop!

  28. My naked palette and mascara are my go to makeup for everyday and add some eyeliner and lipstick for the night look!

  29. I dab a cream highlighter (or a light shimmery eyeshadow) on the cupids bow of my upper lip…I have to say, my lips look so pretty and really stand out when I do this!

  30. Urban Decay eye primer potion tube – works like magic to keep eye shadow colors brilliant and from fading – stays on forever

  31. I only carry 3 things in my make-up bag at all times: 1) lip stain, 2. Concealer stick, & 3.travel sized mascara. Since i go straiht from wk 2 school all wk i like 2 keep my bag simple & compact so I’m not carrying more than i have 2. I use the concealer stick 4 under my eyes, the top of my eyelids, inner corner of my eyes, & my brow bone as a way 2 add a subtle natural highlight since it’s slightly lighter than the rest of my face. Then i apply 2 coats of mascara 2 really open up my eyes & help me look more awake. The stain is perfect cuz it’s 2 in 1 in my bag since i use it as a lip stain & a cheek stain 4 a natural flush. i save the eyeshadow & lip glosses 4 when i have more time 2 vamp up my look & have fun…the wkend! 🙂

  32. A night out – a smokey eye, a nice pink blush and a beautiful lipstick – massive amount of mascara and a bit of liner as well!!

  33. Hmmm….go to glamorous makeup trick…definitely black winged-out liquid liner! That is a must have for a glamorous look!

  34. I use mascara, black eyeliner, a darker sparkly eye shadow at the outer eye, highlight the brow bone, and fill in the eyebrow area.

  35. Tinted moisturizer! My old pores need a nice finish that doesn’t sink into every crack and crevice, with just a hint of dewy.

  36. Always use primer, foundation, eye shadow, lip. Doesn’t matter what, primer helps your makeup stay fresh looking all day!

  37. Right now it’s lots of mascara for my blonde eyelashes, bu I’d like to kick it up a notch with the Naked 2 palette!

  38. Summer Days it’s Mascara and lip gloss. Summer Nights is a little eyeliner, neutrals and pinks eye shadow, soft pink blush following by a soft shimmery lipstick

  39. My go to glamorous make up trick is to apply white eye shadow on the inside corners of my eyes… and blend!! it really brightens up your eyes 🙂

  40. I have a few….
    1. I use a face oil and moisturizer with sunscreen year-round.
    2. Urban decay eyeshadow base…..love it!
    3. Love a full color gloss on my lips!

  41. For a natural look, white eyeliner on the inner corners of the eye and just a thin line of black eyeliner on the top lid.

  42. Start off with primer, use dark powder (black or gray) to line eyes instead of pencil or liquid for a softer more natural look and always always wear mascara =0)

  43. I use coconut oil as a moisturizer and just a bronzer in the summer time with eyeliner, naked shadow and mascara.

  44. if you need blush in a pinch, give your cheeks a pinch. Squeezing your cheeks will bring just enough color to your face without having to carry it around with you.

  45. My go-to glamorous tip is always take off your makeup at night, use good serum/moisturizer & night eye cream/gel, get plenty of sleep and drink lots of water to provide the optimal starting point before makeup application. And I always look best when I use my Urban Decay eyeshadow base, NARS Orgasm blush, brown eyeliner on top lids only (for my blue eyes), mascara (of course) and lipstick in neutral tones to compliment my skin.

  46. I love my Too Faced Lock down in bedroom eyes as shadow. It doesn’t budge even while getting sprayed on a jet ski. Also can’t live without eye liner and lip liner with a little lip stick

  47. Facial cleaning – daily, diligently, with good product. I recommend DHC olive oil based cleaning system.

If you have time for nothing else, apply eye liner on your lower lid, blend well.

  48. My glamorous makeup trick is of course an eyeshadows! They are my go-to beauty weapon 🙂 they’re miracle workers for any occasion. Thank you very much for an opportunity to win this glamorous Urban Decay’s Naked 2!

  49. Mix a few drops of argan oil with your moisturizer – slowly gets rid of acne scars, smoothes the face, and hydrates!

  50. I make sure to have a fresh clean face. Have a sultry smokey eye, black eyeliner, and mascara of course!

  51. Even when I’m not wearing makeup, I always wear mascara and a little blush. Both make you look a little brighter.

  52. My favorite makeup tip is to use white eyeliner just below your brows and blend in with a Q-tip. It really makes your eyes pop, give definition to your brows.

  53. Pouty nude lips, achieved by applying lip balm, lining lips with nude liner and blotting on a pinkish-nude lipstick.

  54. My glamourous makeup tip is to always wash your face before you go to bed so in the morning you have the best skin to apply amazing, sparkly eyeshadows for the summer and sexy lipgloss!!!

  55. Glamour look is a lightly colored gold shadow in the inner corners of my eyes and then curl my lashes and good black mascara!

  56. If you want your face to look good with makeup then take care of it without makeup. I take my makeup off with Dove soap for sensitive skin then use my Clarisonic with Cerave cleanser for dry skin.

  57. For perfect coverage I use a concealer for spots and then with a large kabuki brush, blot on powder foundation. Make for a flawless finish! 😉

  58. Try using an eyeliner in a dark brown for day time if you always wear black .It seems better for earlier part of day when you can be less dramatic .

  59. I try to make my makeup seem natural. A foundation that is my tone, blended down my neck (some people forget and leave a harsh line). Use a touch of concellor on top of my foundation, under the eyes to open it up and hide the circles. Curl, than apply mascara in long strokes. Not too much eyeliner, however I do like to add white eyeliner on the inner bottom eyelid to open my eyes up and make me seem happier and brighter. If I really need to brighten my face I may add it on the top lid, as well. My eye-shadow is natural shades of flesh pink and tan, with a lighter soft white (which looks light flesh tone when on the eyelid). I use a clear, semi-glossy, but not sticky, chap-stick, instead of lipstick. If I can’t find Baby-Lips, I can use Neosporan or Vaseline. If you have a red mark, try to add a drop of eye drops that remove the red from your eyes. It works on the skin pretty good to. If you have puffy lids, you can add hemorrhoid cream. My trouble is not puffy, but dark circles. Using a yellow or green, depending on your skin tone, concealer will help to hide the circles. I use a touch of blush, which is wisp-ed along each cheek and slightly across my nose. It needs to look more like you do naturally when you tan. This look is natural, yet it can take you from work to a party, and you still look classy. The trick is to look like you don’t NEED to wear makeup.

  60. For brown hair or darker, If your part shows shiny scalp, use a small amount of nude color shadow to take out shine and blend with hair.

  61. I use a darker shade of shadow on my lids than I had on during the day. I put it right over the daytime shade. I slightly widen and darken the liner on my upper lids. I then add a layer of darker shades towards the brow, letting it slightly sweep outwards, towards my temples. If you’re going to go dark with shadow, it should not look like one big block of black on your lids 😉

  62. My makeup trick is to use dark matte eyeshadow for liner—it gives a more gentle look instead of a harsh eyeliner look

  63. Now that summer is here I like to keep some of my makeup in a small bag in the fridge. It keeps it fresh from melting. I also believe less is best when it comes to makeup.

  64. For breakouts I use generic asprin, desolve with a drop or of warm water.Apply on breakout let sit for couple of mins then rinse.

  65. For oily skin, using Milk of Magnesia works as the best possible primer! (Don’t think about what it’s originally used for lol!) It works by drawing excess moisture from the skin so it leaves your skin dry and prevents oil from seeping through, leaving your foundation remaining flawless for the entire day! Best part? It’s ultra-cheap! I get mine from the Dollar Tree!

  66. Putting lipstick on and placing a napkin on top of my lips and powdering it with translucent powder to ensure the color stays on all day!

  67. 1. Prime -spray fix plus ,apply moisturizer, MUFE pore primer
    2. Add becca liquid highlight in champagne pop before foundation
    3. Born this way foundation
    4. Highlight under eyes forehead , nose , chin with UDecay light concealer and set it with Laura mercier translucent powder , let it bake 10 mins and dust off after
5 . Contour cheeks with Lancôme foundation stick ( darkest shade ) blend with beauty blender
    6 . Set with bronzer
    7. Highlight cheek bones , top of eyebrow , Cupid bow with becca champagne pop powder
